There are currently 20 full-time teachers in the department of Philosophy of Science and Technology, mainly graduated from renown universities and institutions including the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, Sun Yat-Sen University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, University of Pittsburgh, University of Queensland in Australia and others.

Among the full-time teachers, there are leading talents in Philosophy and Social Sciences of the National "Ten Thousand Talents Program", selected candidates of the "Four Batches" Talent Project of the Central Publicity Department, experts in special government allowances from the State Council, selected candidates in the National-level "New Century Talent Project" and selected candidates in the "New Century Excellent Talent Program" of Ministry of Education. Many are serving as Executive Directors of the Chinese Society of Dialectics of Nature, as well as the Directors and Deputy Directors of their professional committees. There are also teachers who are serving as the Vice Director of the China Science, Technology and Public Policy Professional Committee and the Vice Director of the Environmental Ethics Research Association of the Chinese Ethics Society.
